HIRA Masterclass - Session 6 of 12

HAZID INTRODUCTION

Monday 16 November 2026, 11:30–13:30 (UK time)

HAZID is the study most organisations skip and the one that prevents the most rework.

Running a HAZID before your HAZOP can significantly reduce your HAZOP schedule and improve the quality of your findings. The principle is simple: identify the hazards broadly first, then examine the details systematically. Most teams do it the other way around and wonder why their HAZOP drags.

This session covers how to scope, structure, and run a HAZID that genuinely adds value — not a tick-box exercise that gets filed and forgotten.

2 hours. Live. £25.

1 free place available for students, university staff, or anyone currently unemployed. A first come, first served. Get in touch to apply.

This course is a different scope to the HAZID Foundations modules which aim to demonstrate the technique.
